Due to the central location, our Manchester training centre is one of our most popular academies for our students in the North of England & offers a vast range of courses, including the specialized Electrical Facials & Microdermabrasion courses.
Our ABT Accredited diploma & VTCT beauty, holistic, nail & make-up courses in Manchester are run at our well-equipped beauty school located on Lever Street, with the training rooms set up to provide courses all year-round.
It is located on the first floor of a three-story historical building that provides spacious training rooms within which to comfortably learn a wide range of beauty skills, guided by our highly qualified & welcoming beauty tutors based in Manchester.

FACILITIES
Located on the first floor of a stylish three-story multi-occupancy building, comprised of a comfortable office & two spacious training rooms, including a well-lit make-up studio, a galley kitchen to be used on lunch breaks & a secure store-room where we keep the professional beauty equipment provided for your use on training courses.
The academy has been stylishly renovated into a well-planned, modern & functional-purpose area with open plan rooms for ease of learning. The academy forms part of a terrace of various other premises which have been renovated to be in form with the original character of the building, including sash windows & ornate frontage.
PARKING
Lever Street is just off the junction between the A62 and the A665 (Great Ancoats Street).ย
No parking is available at the centre due to the city location.
There is plenty of low cost parking locally. Two suggested car parks (pay and display) can be found a short walk away on Port Street, located on what3words using chill.burn.pays or click https://what3words.com/chill.burn.pays
If parking at the NCP or SIP car parks on Port Street, simply cross over & take the left into Faraday Street walking up Faraday Street for a couple of minutes (you will cross over Newton Street & Little Lever Street while continuing up Faraday Street) until you reach where it meets with Lever Street. Then take a right into Lever Street & continue until you find The Beauty Academy located on the left hand side of Lever Street.
We highly recommend travelling by public transport.

- Turn right & walk along Piccadilly until you get to Piccadilly Gardens. Lever Street is on your right.

I really enjoyed the 1 day facial massage and skincare course with Karen in Manchester. Karen is really knowledgeable and passionate and shared helpful information and tips throughout the day. It was lovely to have a small group and be guided through the practice session, which was really supportive. I would recommend this course!

I completed the following 1 day courses: Manicure & Pedicure with Corinna and UV Gel Nail Extensions, Acrylic Nail Extensions and Builder Gel In A Bottle with Karen. All of the courses were incredibly informative with plenty of practical training as well as useful hints and tips. Both tutors are friendly and supportive, highly recommended. I have one more course to do but my confidence is growing every day.

I did the Nail Tech course consisting of learning Mani Pedi, Acrylic and UV Gel Extension with Corina and Karen and I couldn’t recommend enough! Initially drawn in by the great reviews and competitive pricing, they didn’t disappoint with their knowledge and teaching skills. They both have so much experience in the industry so are able to thoroughly answer any question you have whether it be about application or on the job. As well as their expertise, the lessons were super fun, they alleviated any pressure whilst ensuring your technique is spot on. I’d definitely go back should I need to further my skills ❤️

This academy is amazing, took a three day Nail Technician course, and all I can say is my tutor Karen was amazing, really patient, informative, and gave a lot of great advice and tips along side the training. You can tell Karen loves what she does, and is passionate about the beauty industry. Would 100% recommend to anybody who is Contemplating taking a course at this academy.

I recently completed the Facial and Skincare course and had a very positive experience. The training facility in Manchester is excellent, with a warm and friendly atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome.
The course was led by Karen, a highly knowledgeable tutor with extensive experience. She is very approachable and encourages questions, making sure everyone feels comfortable and confident in their understanding throughout the training.

Karen, the tutor, did an amazing job. She is incredibly patient and explains everything in great detail. You can always ask questions, and sheโs happy to demonstrate things as many times as needed until you fully understand.
Iโm currently working in the NHS and have been considering a career change or starting a part-time role on the side. This course has really opened my eyes, and I think the Beauty Academy is a fantastic place to begin that journey. Itโs very professional, in a great location in Manchester, and the whole experience was genuinely enjoyable.
