I attended one of The Beauty Academy’s lash courses last weekend, and found it to be a lovely & pleasant experience throughout.Our trainer was incredibly friendly & informative, and she made us all feel safe & confident enough to ask any questions we had - she was really honest with us too, which helped me understand so much more!I found the course to be really thorough (covering client consultations, patch tests & contra-indications, lash prep, lash application, aftercare, insurance, equipment & more!), and for someone who had never done lashes before, I left the training centre feeling well-educated & confident😄HIGHLY recommend!

Just finished my 8th caurse with the beauty academy birmingham, I did classic hybrid and volume lashes, mani pedi, gel polish acrylic and uv gel extensions, and advanced waxing, all caurses was with amazing tutor Carolin, Yvonne and the new girl (can't remember her name) thay are amazing, helpfully, and give great advice, thanks to the hole of the birmingham team for making my training a great experience

Attended a facial course at The Beauty Academy and it was fantastic! Exceeded all my expectations, I did expect a full classroom course but was so glad it was practical and had lots of hands on experience, I've also recommended the academy to a family member who will be booking soon. Was a great day and I am looking forward to booking further courses. Overall an absolutely amazing day.

Unfortunately my experience at the Manchester academy wasn't great on the Brow Lamination Course. Personally I didn't think the teacher was right for the course and therefore didn't get great learning out of the practical course what I was hoping for. I have left feeling not so confident. I fed this back to the head office who offered me the online course however I paid for a practical course because I learn better through practice so I respectfully declined. If this is the standard for this academy's Brow Lamination Course then I highly recommend against doing it with this academy. Instead find someone who specialises and practices in Brow Laminations specifically. £229 down the drain for me unfortunately.

So i attended the Manchester location and did the acrylic nail course with karen!! Honestly she is the most lovely and welcoming person i have ever met. I can be a chatter box sometimes and ask way to many questions but karen had the patience with Me and answered all my questions. We had learnt all the basics on acrylic nails. I would highly recommend!!!

I have been a student at the beauty academy twice now and have had the same amazing teacher called Karen , Karen is a natural teacher she explains and demonstrates procedures in a way very easy to understand , every question you ask is answered no matter how silly it may seem, she is very patient and will keep explaining or showing you till you have mastered it , I can honestly say Karen is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had ,, the school is comfortable and you feel very at ease there , the courses are very reasonably priced , enjoyable , the other students are all lovely too , I really enjoy going there and can’t wait to do my next course ,,, thanks Karen you do a fantastic job ,,,,,

WOW. What can I say, an amazing academy an amazing course but the best of all AMAZING STAFF. Yvonnne was absolutely incredible, what a lady!!! She taught us so thoroughly making it fun but also so informative. She kept it lively and interesting. She even gave me an extra VIP treatment and done my brows at the end. They looked incredible!!!! I started my adventure with beauty about 7 years ago from a facial and skincare course with Yvonne. This amazing woman infected me with her passion. That's why I kept going back to the next courses: microdermabrasion, electrical facial, massages, pedicures, eyebrows, eyelashes, nails, ...Sometimes I was a really creepy student, especially the last two which were difficult for me. However, the patience of another wonderful woman, Katy, allowed me to complete these courses successfully.At the encouragement of both ladies, I decided to do NVQ 2 and 3. During the year I had to get NVQ, my life turned upside down. I underwent 3 surgeries, one of which was life-saving. I was afraid that I would not be able to complete the competencies before the deadline.Then the support team came to my aid, extending the deadline for completing the course, for which I am extremely grateful. I was able to pass my written exam on the first try and Katie made sure my practical exam went very smoothly. Therefore, if you love what you do and want to learn new skills, I believe that this is the best beauty school you can choose.The professionalism, experience and passion of the teachers is amazing ! An absolutely brilliant training day at the Beauty Academy. We had a wonderful trainer, Katy, she was extremely knowledgeable and made the day really excellent for us. The course was very thorough and has hugely helped build confidence to go off and do treatments on clients.As a small group of 4, we did the basic facial course which I would highly recommend for getting started. We were allowed to use our own Tropic products, which was really helpful.Parking was easy to find, nearby and relatively cheap. Toilet facilities at the venue were basic as there was only one ladies toilet. There was a small breakout area which didn’t have enough chairs for the number of students, but we were grateful for the provision of tea and coffee.Katy answered all of our questions at the end, we would be happy to return to the Beauty Academy for further courses.

I have been looking into doing beauty for a while and waxing was one of the things I was interested in so I went ahead and booked the course, I was very nervous as I have never done anything in this industry before but Katy put me and the other girls at ease what an absolute pleasure to have trained with such a lovely group. Any questions or queries Katy was more than happy to answer and she covered absolutely everything including insurance providers, wholesalers, social media… I will definitely be returning to add a wider list to my beauty qualifications. I had an amazing experience yesterday with my waxing course. Katie my trainer was extremely thorough and attentive throughout her training. I highly recommend training at the Beauty Academy Birmingham. My Tutor Katy was absolutely amazing! So professional and friendly, made me feel very welcome could of not asked for a better Tutor. Honestly I am so over the moon with the level of professionalism, genuinity, love and passion Katy put into my 2 day course for spa body massage. The way that woman knows her stuff, and the amount I learnt in 2 days was shocking. Even at other places where I have done courses, I felt I needed more guidance and teaching. Here at The Beauty Academy, with Katy in particular, I feel like she WANTED to see me go far. Defo booking my lash course with her in particular, even though I have already done a lash course somewhere else, I want to do it over again so that Katy can teach me. Il be much better at them then I feel. Thank you thank you thank you for your hard work and dedication. Need more teachers like her around.

Do not use the Beauty Academy!!! Terrible customer service by the bookings team. They sell you courses and then cancel them. They then give you a voucher code to book another course which they then say can't be used on certain courses even though it processes through their website. They are not willing to help the customer at all!!

I have attended multiple course at The Beauty Academy Cambridge! I started on journey in 2019! I’ve completely courses which include; make up, acrylics, manicures & pedicures, waxing, tinting, eyelash extensions & facials! I now own (thanks to the Beauty Academy) a successful business which I wouldn’t have been able to achieve without them. The tutors are spectacular and the facilities and wonderful! I wouldn’t go anywhere else to train! I’m constantly checking for new courses to expand my services and I’ll 100% be back! I recently attended the 2 day Swedish massage course in Cambridge and I can honestly say, it was so worth it! Our tutor, Rachel was so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She made the course such a relaxing environment for a bunch of strangers. I know personally I feel so confident in using the techniques she taught us going forward as she made sure that even with a group, she gave individual attention and made sure we were all confident and comfortable with what we were learning. Recently I attended the two day express Swedish massage course. As someone who has had little experience massaging, I feel very competent to go away and practice!I learned so much over the course of two days. It’s very hands on practical as we worked on each other, with our WONDERFUL teacher Rachel. Rachel gave us so much information with all her experience, and a couple of options when it comes how to approach certain moves. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to get into this practice. A very chill and friendly approach environment, all with fellow students eager to learn! 100% will be back as already booked to go onto learn Indian head massage.

The Skincare and Facial Massage course was so interesting. This was my first time ever entering the beauty world, and the tutor was so kind and welcoming. The facilities and space were fantastic. I liked that we got the course notes before the date of the course to read through, and then on the day we went through essentials and also had a large amount of practical learning with the chance to practice giving facial treatments. As well as the content of the treatment, we were also given so many tips and advice on stuff about setting up your own practice. The tutor Rachel was absolutely lovely and very very good at her job. She was a great role model in how to act as a professional in the beauty industry and I loved how she went out of her way to compliment each one of us by saying something positive about our appearance. Her teaching approach was sensitive, she was full of knowledge she shared and she was very good with managing the group in a humourous and nurturing way. Very inspiring lady.

Manicure/Pedicure at Cambridge - Another brilliant course with Rachel. Looking forward to completing other nail courses.Reflexology - I have never had reflexology before but have always been curious about what it entails and if it actually works. This is a wonderful treatment and so interesting. Lorraine was very patient with me! Also a very good pace. This course definitely needs two days. The moves didn't come naturally to me but by the end of day 2 I felt much more confident and relaxed. I can't wait to offer this treatment. As always... great tutor and have met really lovely people along the way.Microdermabrasion - Another great course. Great to add on to the Electrical Facials course. Rachel, as usual, was informative and clear in her teaching and I left the day feeling confident in my ability to carry out the treatment. Thank you!Electrical Facials two day course! Wow… so much learnt in two days and feel confident in the treatments already. (thanks again Rachel!👌). Cambridge is a really great centre to go to. Very welcoming. I feel at home there! Close to Cambridge city centre but not so close you have to battle with the traffic. Parking available and also super close to Cambridge North station if you need to get there from a little further. Microdermabrasion tomorrow… bring it on! 🙌😁Spa Body Massage - amazing course. Would definitely recommend doing this course in addition to the Express MassGe. Loved this so much - plus Rachel have given me so much confidence in myself as well as teaching me so much…. I’ve enrolled in the VTCT…. A LITTLE BIT ADDICTED!Express Body Massage - Another fantastic course with Rachel. I love completing The Beauty Academy courses in Cambridge - the tutor is so welcoming and I have met some really lovely people along the way. Learning so much and at the same time having a really great day. Again, training was spot on. I will be booking in more courses!Indian Head Massage… Another amazing course at The Beauty Academy Cambridge. It is the second time I have completed a face-to-face course there with Rachel (first time with facial and skincare course). She is an amazing tutor!!! I do not know how she manages to teach so much in one day and not only make it sink in but also make it a thoroughly enjoyable experience! + such a lovely person! I can’t wait for my express massage and spa massage courses in a couple of weeks’ time. Such a shame there’s not more of a selection of courses in Cambridge though. Overall - can’t rate it enough. I need a 6 star option!

Really accessible location, parking available and near a train station. Training course was delivered by Rachel who was lovely and a great teacher. Really enjoyed my brow lamination course. The centre was easy to find with a welcoming greeting by Rachel the tutor. She was very helpful and informative. I have left feeling confident from my training and learning.The only issue is known problems with hotmail accounts, I did not find my course instructions ahead of the course. They are under a different email to the booking confirmation ones and go straight into junk mailbox.I will be back for more courses. Thank you xxx

They are fantastic tutors and I couldn’t of asked for better, all 6 courses were interesting, informative and very relaxed! I completed all 3 lash courses (classics, hybrids and lash tint and Russians). I went in with absolutely no knowledge of anything to do with lashes apart from the vague idea as I get them done frequently myself. I was taught all three sessions by Rebekah and I can genuinely say she made the experience amazing! She was so friendly, caring and attentive and I feel as though she went above and beyond to give me all the knowledge I needed and has made me feel confident enough that I feel like I know what I am doing and how to do it successfully, and it only took 3 days to learn. The course itself was engaging and thorough and I genuinely couldn’t recommend it enough to anyone who is considering doing it, it is worth the money and was one of the best experiences. I will definitely be returning to take further courses in the near future.

Kerry is such an amazing tutor, I came for brow lamination which was brilliant and she is happy to answer any questions. One thing I would change is that when the instructions were sent out to do the patch test it did not state you had to patch test all products it just said ‘’mix A&B together’ as most of us did not do the patch test with all products we could not do the whole process on each other only a wax & tint. But, Kerry was amazing and let us do the whole process on her. Would definitely return for more courses.

I did the 3 lash courses here at clapham junction venue and was impressed with the level of teaching in all three, the one teacher that stood out to me was Fleur as she was meant to have 3 other student in her class and i’m the only one who showed up 🙁 She put all her effort and support into teaching me Russian lashes and making fans, she even made me a cup of tea!! i love learning at the academy !! 🙂

I attended the UV Gel Nail Application course yesterday which was with the tutor Sheral. It was not just enjoyable and extremely theraputic but so much information was learnt in a space of a day. I felt like I gained so many skills and the confidence to thrive in this area of beauty. Also to add Sheral was very knowledgeable and really is a great teacher. I am looking forward to completing more courses with The Beauty Academy. The environment is very friendly yet professional.

I attanded a Eyelash course ( classic individual Eyelash course ) with Bev ..... She was absolutely amazing I've done beauty courses before in different teaching schools . BUT nobody tops Bev and her teaching very professional & back to basic old school way of teaching she made you feel at home . You left leaving wanting to do more courses. She's very patient and understanding and guided me & the other girls through the workshop with patience, Highly recommended. Absolutely worth your money .

This place is truly amazing but I feel it's only like this due to alexia & being lucky to have an amazing class!Alexia is truly a lovely, kind, caring, knowledgeable teacher & more 💖 she really does make sure you feel relaxed, let's you enjoy your lesson (as some teachers don't allow that even though your paying) , answers all your questions, makes sure you understand what your studying & if not she will ensure to cover anything you don't & just gives your nothing but confidence & praises! I had such a bad experience the last college I went to & since coming here ill definitely come back for more courses as soon as I can. It's. So worth the money & the location is perfect! Bev is very sweet and kind, she was the most amazing teacher I’ve ever had! She was always behind our backs to check how we’re doing, she stepped in to show us if we were struggling, encouraged us a lot! She showed us so many tips and tricks to make it easier for us. Attended a classic lash course yesterday with Alexia at the Kings Cross academy. I have zero beauty experiences prior and I was made up with the day. The practical training was long enough and the theory was relaxed and conversational meaning it was a nice environment to learn in. The class was a 100% pass and we all left feeling positive and ready for the next stage, whatever that is for everyone. Everyone had a different goal.The extensive knowledge that was shared about further help with our own business and brands was super helpful!

I just completed the lash courses at the beauty academy with Corrina. She really made my experience worthwhile and supported me through the course giving me the confidence to start my business. I do think the course itself could do with more content when it comes to lash mapping, real models, and social media training however at the price it was a good bargain to get to know the basic.

I would recommend this academy for anyone wanting to learn something new in the beauty space! The tutors are so friendly and welcoming and the course is so well planned and executed. I left not only having learnt a new skill but feeling confident moving forward, with a qualification to add to it also. Unfortunately my experience at the Manchester academy wasn't great on the Brow Lamination Course. Personally, I didn't think the teacher was right for the course as she didn't seem to know much about the Brow Lamination itself she was just following a lesson plan therefore I didn't get great learning out of the practical course what I was hoping for. I have left feeling not so confident. I fed this back to the head office who offered me the online course however I paid for a practical course because I learn better through practice so I respectfully declined. If this is the standard for this academy's Brow Lamination Course then I highly recommend against doing it with this academy. Instead find someone who specialises in Brow Laminations specifically. £229 down the drain for me unfortunately.

I recently finished my Level 2 Facials and Massage and Level 3 Electrical facials courses - i give 3 stars only because of the teacher i had there - Karen , she is such a kind,understanding and knowledgeable person. Im happy that i was her student.I would have given less if it wasn’t her really..One of them was the overall structure and information in the course, i found so many mistakes in the textbook and even the videos..it just makes it so unprofessional in my opinion.Would say that everything is kind of old style- the machines they use are the basic old ones, the materials they have as a theory are probably from when the company opened.. and i think they should have added more new information to the theory.For that price i don’t think i have learned that much or practiced enough..Another thing that i didn’t like is that you can contact them only through email, ridiculous…They don’t offer you help with finding models for the exams (which was a struggle for me as im from Newcastle area) or get a referral for a job somewhere..Could have been way better for the money you pay , they need improving for sure. Wouldn’t do any other courses there to be honest.

After completing the Luxury Manicure and Pedicure, Gel Polish, UV Gel Extensions, and Acrylics courses, I cannot recommend The Beauty Academy enough! The tutor Karen is very knowledgeable and passes on her experience and skills to you in a practical setting so you can apply them straight away. She is such a lovely person and easy to chat to which puts you right at ease straightaway, and is extremely encouraging and supportive. After completing my courses I feel that I have the skills and information to create a career for myself. I will definitely be back at the academy to train in new skills and expand my services soon. Absolutely amazing ❤️ I had looked at courses and found nothing worthwhile in the North West which is not only a shame but quite shocking honestly! I am so glad I booked with BA Manchester, honestly i'll never go anywhere else going forward. The setting is perfect, professional yet welcoming, our tutor was incredible - she was so knowledgeable and approachable, I honestly can't reccommend this place enough. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! I will be back and I can't wait ❤️ If you're looking just book, well worth it!

I did the manicure and pedicure course on Monday with Karen, who was lovely and very knowledgeable such a relaxed and nice environment. I have also completed the waxing course today and Charlotte was amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly. Very professional. Enjoyed the courses and would book more.

I attended today for the Acrylic Nail Extensions Training Course and I couldn't have asked for more. Our trainer Shakila was so friendly and helpful. I'm booked onto the Ultimate Nail Technician Training Package so I have 3 more sessions to go and I am really looking forward to it. Shakila left me feeling confident and gave me enough information to go out and do nails independently.

When I completed the classic lash extensions, Clare taught the group, she was very friendly and was happy to help numerous of times even if it was the same questions, I learnt how to complete classic lashes, how to remove and Infill, I left the course very confident due to Clare.

The Beauty Academy teachers were amazing. It was great experience.Unfortunately it is very hard get anyone on the phone. It looked like if you ready to pay, their "call back" is very quick and organised, but if you just would like to talk in person they show that you are not important. It is a shame, but I decided invest my money elsewhere.

I just did my classic eyelashes course with Clare in Milton Keynes. She was absolutely fantastic! I felt that she was very precise in her teaching where she covered all the basic and foundations part, which is very important for all the beginners. She was also very thorough in her steps of teaching which made me very engaged. I felt that she gave her attention to each of us as our needs were different at times. Thank you Clare 💕

What a great day! I carried out an acrylic nail course with small group of 8 of us. Kiran was our tutor and she was fantastic! She took us through every process and made sure we all individually understood everything and helped us go at our own pace! I was sceptical about booking but I’m so glad I did and will definitely be back for other courses!

I booked in for the ultimate beauty therapist package and was so excited to start my journey, on my first day I met Donna, she was so helpful and her attention to detail is amazing, she really makes sure you are ready to start your business as soon as you leave. I've just recently completed the Classic, Hybrid and Russain lash courses at The Beauty Academy Newcastle with Donna. I couldn't praise Donna enough, she was the most helpful, kind and patient tutor we could have asked for. She filled us all with the confidence we needed and helped us realise it's a learning process and with practice we will all bloom in to the lash techs we dream to be. I wish I could come back every day to train with Donna and I couldn't recommend her or The Beauty Academy enough.

Amazing little academy, definitely made better by Donna!I decided to train whilst on maternity leave after having my little one, I was super nervous and anxious when I arrived however being met by Donna this was quickly pushed to the back of my mind. She's incredibly warming, welcoming and approachable. She has a very soft teaching approach about her which is great, she's not pushy or bossy she's really helpful and if you don't understand, simply say and she will go over if again and show you until you do understand.She's a credit to the academy!I have done a variety of courses here now and I am looking forward to doing some more. They are very informative and educational.The training gives you everything you need to continue working yourself to improve, you won't become a beautician in a day but you gain valuable skills, techniques, advice, tips and knowledge to guide you on your way to doing what you want in the future, whether if be a beautician or a nail tech or just to learn how to do something for yourself this is a great place to start at a very reasonable price.

I’ve done the luxury manicures, luxury pedicures and gel polish course at Newcastle and enjoyed every minute. Donna was so welcoming and friendly which put us all at ease. She taught me so many new things and answered any questions I had about nails. Hopefully be back again 🙂

I recently carried out lash extension training for 3 days with tutors Fleur and Amy. Both were absolutely lovely and so knowledgeable, the training was clear and thorough, lots of support and advice was given and the atmosphere was lovely and friendly. They also made it really clear that the support was on-going should we need it and we just had to contact them if we need anything in the future.I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of training.

Thoroughly enjoyed my classic eyelash extension course with Lisa. She was very warm and welcoming and very good at explaining the fundamentals of eyelash extensions. Wasnt made to feel stupid and she was always happy to answer questions the group had. Very in-depth and informative course. Would recommend! I recently attended a manicure and pedicure training here. Our trainer Lisa was professional, knowledgeable and put you at ease. Information provided was emailed and content covered on the day was thorough. You must be prepared to receive and give the treatment on other students. Further studying can be done at home as course work is emailed and advised. Thoroughly recommend attending this course and other beautician courses available. Certificates are emailed after you pass the course.

I was gifted The Beauty Academy’s manicure and pedicure training course for my birthday. I had a brilliant day! ☺️Lisa was so professional — she had a wealth of knowledge and a lovely, upbeat personality. The academy itself is also beautifully situated in Reading. I learned so much through the day and would highly recommend this course to anybody who enjoys doing nails, either as a hobby or is looking to qualify as a nail technician.

Tutor: LisaCourse: ReflexologyJust finished a fantastic reflexology course here. We were lucky to be just two students, who already had an in-depth knowledge of anatomy. Lisa was a fantastic tutor, clearly very knowledgeable with a wealth of information which she shared freely. A comprehensive set of notes were provided and plenty of time for practical was given. It’s in a particularly nice setting with plenty of free parking. Thank you 🙏🏻

I really enjoyed joining the Facial Massage & Skincare course lead by the amazing Lisa at The Beauty Academy in Shinfield in January. There was so much to cover and Lisa had so much knowledge to share. Staff is very friendly and professional at the same time which makes it easy to learn the theory and also the techniques. Teachers pay attention to each student and gives honest advises and support.
