Work as Self Employed

If you wish to work as a mobile therapist or offer occasional treatments from home, you will be sufficiently qualified with The Beauty Academy Diploma.

All students receive The Beauty Academy Diploma which allows you to gain public liability (beauty) insurance to work with paying clients from home or mobile. It allows you to begin earning straight away, even while working towards a qualification.

If you are already a qualified therapist, you may wish to study The Beauty Academy Diploma courses to refresh your knowledge or acquire new skills. Courses can be booked individually or to help you save money on training, our most popular courses have been grouped into Multi Buy Course Packages.

Our Packages are carefully selected to give you the best possible business start-up opportunity with training within a package of popular treatments, specialising within a particular area of beauty; all while saving you money on individual 1 Day Diploma Course fees.

Work as Employed

If you wish to gain employment in the industry or just want to keep your career options open, we recommend you to consider the VTCT Level 2 and/or Level 3 qualification courses.

Most employers in salons, spas, nail bars and on cruise ships will require therapists to hold a Level 2 and/or Level 3 Qualification. Qualifications demonstrate to employers that the therapist is proficient in their treatments and is committed to high standards in the industry.

If you wish to open your own salon premises or have a permanent treatment room from home, you will also usually require a Qualification to comply with local authority licensing. Students are recommended to contact their local authority before enrolling to establish the exact requirements.

The VTCT qualifications are also internationally recognised opening up limitless opportunities to work around the world.
