This training package includes:

*Please note: During the Manicure & Pedicure and Gel Polish training days, students will be required to give and receive treatments working so nail extensions and/or gel polish must be removed before attending these training days. For the UV Gel and Acrylic Nail Extension training days, these will be completed entirely working upon a professional nail trainer training hand.

This course package consists of four practical training days: Manicure & Pedicure (1 day); Dry Manicure & Gel Polish )1 day); Acrylic Nail Extensions (1 day); and UV Gel Nail Extensions (1 day). These courses are not run consecutively and you can choose the dates to suit you at your desired training centre (subject to availability).

Each training day runs from 10am – 4pm and we ask students to arrive at 9.45am to ensure a prompt start. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, with a short break for lunch.

We do not include any kits within our training courses, however we provide all products and tools required to complete the practical training on the day, at the training centre for you to use. We took this approach following student feedback so that students are not tied into specific kits or brands of products as part of their course fee, before they are trained and able to make an informed choice. Our training courses teach the generic treatment techniques and processes, they are not brand specific.

We recommend attending training where you will gain advice about different brands and suppliers to enable you to purchase products from your chosen supplier directly following your training. We do offer selected starter kits available to purchase through our website & supplied directly from the supplier to you by courier.

Manicures are an essential skill for any therapist; all of us want attractive hands but don’t always have the time to maintain them. French Manicure, in particular, is a popular manicure treatment all-year round, especially for brides and those who do not want colour on their nails, being timelessly stylish but understated. Similarly, pedicures are a great way to provide basic foot care for those on their feet all day, focusing on the skin condition and nail care. Both treatments are relaxing for clients and offer a basic but essential service that are fundamental for all nail technicians working from home or mobile.

Gel polish is an essential skill for any therapist; all of us want attractive hands but we don’t always have the time to maintain them. It is one of the most in-demand nail treatments throughout the country, specifically because of the high-gloss shine finish, zero-drying time along with no edge-wear, chips, scratching or dulling; ideal for those who lead a busy lifestyle.

Acrylic nail extensions uses a two-component system with liquid and powder, making it the strongest, most versatile nail enhancement. They are easy to shape to your client’s desired style and they can dramatically enhance the look of natural nails. The acrylic nail extension system is the most popular in the UK, holding about 50% of the nail market, making it an extremely profitable skill to learn.

Better yet, this package also includes the UV Gel Nail Extensions (a no-odour system which requires no extra products or chemicals, and offers a more flexible nail extension alternative for those not suited to acrylics, wanting a natural looking tip). You will be taught the tip and overlay method of application. Following this Multi Buy Course Package, you will have significantly developed your skills to work as a professional nail technician, from home and/or mobile as an Advanced Nail Technician. This exciting package represents an excellent and most affordable way to acquire skills within the leading nail service treatments.

Our diploma courses are suitable for complete beginners and do not require any prior learning to be able to train with us; many of our students are not yet beauty trained and are looking to start up a business in the industry. We welcome students of all abilities, whether you are looking to learn a new skill from scratch or currently working as a therapist and looking to refresh your knowledge of particular treatments.

Students will give and receive treatments and so nail extensions, polish and/or gel nail polish will need to be removed from finger and toe nails before attending the Manicure & Pedicure and Gel Polish training days. You will work entirely on a professional nail trainer hand to complete the two days of nail extension training.

All products and tools are provided for the training days at the centre when you attend. No kit is required to complete the training days, nor included in the course fee. On the training days, you only need to bring a hand and bath towel for your personal use, completed enrolment form and cold food for your lunch (e.g. sandwich/salad).

We are so proud at The Beauty Academy to work with such a professional, passionate and friendly team of tutors, all of which hold a Level 2 and Level 3 qualification in their specialised sector. Our tutors are also all qualified with either Level 4 PTTLS or equivalent teaching awards in education, with years of experience in beauty-related professional industries. Furthermore, our tutors who are involved in the assessment process all hold an Assessors Award.

When you have successfully completed your training course(s), you will receive a diploma certificate issued by The Beauty Academy and accredited by ABT. This not only demonstrates your commitment to the training, but also allows you to obtain Public Liability Insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients from home and/or mobile.

Once you have completed your practical training day with us, there is no additional work to be completed. Your diploma certificate will be sent to you within 1-2 working days and you can then begin working from home and/or mobile, once insurance has been obtained.

All of our diploma courses enable you to work from both home and mobile offering the specialised treatment(s) that you have completed. You can start earning by offering treatments to paying clients as soon as you have obtained your insurance.
