Course Overview:
Course is suitable only for those who have already trained within Classic Individual Eyelash Extensions Training Course or equivalent training with an alternative provider to cover these fundamental lash skills.
Duration – 1 Day (10am – 4pm approx.), you will have a short break for lunch.
Practical – No models required. You will work on a professional training head.
Requirements – Open to anyone aged 16 years or over. All training equipment provided at the centre for use on the day.
Certification – You will receive The Beauty Academy Diploma which is accredited by ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) and recognised for insurance.
What this course covers – You will learn an advanced lash extension treatment using a multi-lash layering technique adhering synthetic, ultra-fine lashes onto a single natural lash to create a lash ‘fan’. The technique originated in Russia & is often known as Russian Lashes or 3D Lashes. Russian Volume Lashes give clients a full, high impact glamorous look with extreme natural looking volume.

For anyone already confident in Classic eyelash extension techniques (1 false lash to one natural lash), this advanced course allows you to learn the popular Russian Volume technique to extend lash length but also give enhanced lash volume. You’ll also learn to begin basic lash mapping to give better lash results. This course is ideal for anyone who wants to be considered an advanced lash technician, setting themselves ahead of the competition and able to create lash results which WOW your clients. Attending your course
What to wear:
Beauty uniform / tunic is ideal, but otherwise smart and clean clothing suitable to learn in is fine e.g. short sleeved t-shirt and trousers. Shoes must be closed toe with flat sole. No heels, flip flops or sandals. Long hair should be tied back. Valuables such as jewellery should be removed and left at home.
What to bring:
All training equipment provided at the centre for use on the day so no kits required. Please bring cold food (salad/sandwich) for lunch. Print & bring along your enrolment form (sent upon booking). Clean hand towel for personal use on the course. Pen/paper if you wish to make any brief notes.

All training centre locations are our own exclusive, permanent training facilities are set up, ready to train all-year round. Our centres are highly equipped and staffed by our friendly, fully qualified and experienced tutors. We never train from hotel rooms, conference suites or in-salons to ensure you get the best possible learning experience in spacious, well appointed and easily accessible locations.
All training centres can be reached by public transport. Many centres also have parking on-site or within reasonable walking distance.

On successful attendance of your training day, you will be sent The Beauty Academy Diploma by email within 24 working hours of your course. This is accredited by ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) allowing you to purchase insurance to work offering your treatments to the public.
Career Opportunities
Upon completion of your course, you can start your own business working from home or mobile offering your treatments.
Some salons may also accept you for self-employed or employed opportunities, although this does vary across the UK and is dependent on individual salon/employer requirements for their insurance and/or local authority special treatment licensing (as applicable). For those specifically seeking employment or to work outside the UK beyond training, you may wish to consider our International Qualifications.
Insurance on Completion
Our Diploma is accepted by a number of leading beauty (public liability) insurers including Balens, Radius, InSync and many more. It will cover you when providing treatments to the public, but many policies also provide additional benefits such as covering your kit for loss/damage, risk of damage to client property while providing treatments in their home and legal assistance.
You do not need any insurance to attend our courses as you will be covered by our company insurance on the training day(s). This is just for when you start working with the public as a therapist yourself.

Symone was an absolutely amazing tutor! I had done my classic lashes the day before so I knew how to apply classic lashes onto the natural lashes but I knew russian lashes were different as you have to make fans. Symone taught us three different ways of making fans, all the tips and tricks you need and spoke about the curls, thicknesses and lengths. Symone also explained the best place to get lash products from and all the kit that you need.
Would recommend this academy to anyone, it really is worth every penny!

I recently completed both these courses and I can’t emphasise enough how good my course leader was. I had Majella both times and the quality of her teaching is unmatched. I learnt so much in those two sessions and I can’t wait to book in again for my hybrids certificate.

I attended a couple of eyelash courses at reading and I thoroughly enjoyed them ! Lots of information both Lisa and Gigi are amazing. I gained lots of knowledge and hands on experience. The training centre itself is beautiful and finished to a high standard. I definitely recommend!

Attended the Classic Lash Extensions, Hybrid Lash Extensions & Lash Tinting, and Russian Volume courses and enjoyed every minute of each day. Rebekah at the Leeds site was absolutely fab throughout and so informative. She helped in every way she could and I felt so comfortable with her. Would definitely come back to receive training from Rebekah.

I did the Classic and then the Russian in two days and I’m going to do the Hybrid. The tutors were very knowledgeable and patient which was needed; as learning this skill was much more fiddley than I had anticipated. They provided everything that was needed and didn’t try and sell equipment to you which was a breath of fresh air. The tutors guided you where to go buy affordable equipment. I would thoroughly recommend attending courses here. I am certainly going to do more!

I successfully completed a course in Russian Volume Lashes and Classic Individual Eyelash Extensions at the Beauty Academy Milton Keynes Centre and I couldn’t be more happy. Lorraine was my tutor and I absolutely loved her teaching style and delivery. She was patient and lovely and was really helpful by providing tips, tricks and techniques. I definitely recommend this academy!

This course was perfect. Rebecca at the Leeds academy was great. She was so lovely and so helpful. She really personalised the learning to each person in the class which for me was incredibly helpful. I found the whole class beneficial and easy to follow. Not only that, but the training and qualification can be gained in a full day which I found even better! I definitely left feeling confident in my ability of doing russians!!

I’ve just finished my Russian Volume Lashes course and it was so good! This was my second course with the TBA and I am so excited to go futher. Charlotte is fantastic! Had a wonderful day, the learning environment was chilled, supportive and educational. The tutor Fluer
was clear in her explanation. You could see through her demonstration that lashes is her thing. I was able to gain skills that I could confidently practise on my own using the different techniques taught to create a fan for volume using the individual lashes
