Note: This course will teach you to fit hair extensions and to cut / blend hair extensions into client’s natural hair once you have applied to client’s hair only. It will not teach you to cut natural hair or any aspect of hairstyling / colouring.

You have 12 weeks to each course to access our online student portal & view the online course resources at your leisure from date of enrolment. The courses are taught through pre-recorded video demonstrations and e-manuals. There is no ‘live’ online session to attend so you are free to study online at a time convenient for you. You have up to 12 months from date of enrolling to submit your case studies to us by email, to achieve your course certificate(s).

We anticipate students to take a minimum of 12 hours to complete each online course, including completion of case studies.

This course package is ideal for anyone new to hair treatments, or you may already be an existing hairdresser who wants to expand their skill set. Upon successful completion of these courses, you’ll be able to apply both tape and nano ring hair extensions, as well as blend these once applied into client’s natural hair using basic cutting techniques. These treatments are highly lucrative and profitable! Once you’ve obtained your course certificate, you can gain insurance to work from home or mobile offering your hair treatments to a wide range of clients.

Our online courses are suitable for complete beginners and do not require any prior learning to be able to train with us; many of our students are not yet beauty trained and are looking to start up a business in the industry. We welcome students of all abilities, whether you are looking to learn a new skill from scratch or currently working as a therapist and looking to refresh your knowledge of particular treatments.

You will need access to a pc, laptop, tablet or mobile device with a stable, high-speed internet connection to access our online student portal. You will need a good command of spoken and written English to complete these courses. You will also need basic products / tools and friends / family or a training head block at home to practice upon, to complete the 3 treatment case studies required for each online course to achieve your certificates.

When you have successfully completed your online training course(s), you will receive a certificate issued by The Beauty Academy and accredited by IPHM, recognising your achievement on each of the courses included within this Online Training Package. These are great to support applications for further training courses, entering employment or indeed may be considered towards CPD for existing therapists. You will also be able to provide treatments on yourself or to friends and family. You can even gain insurance to begin working with paying clients as a therapist working from home or mobile.

The online courses are an excellent starting point for those who have a passion for hair / beauty and wish to learn new skills. Completion of the online courses will equip you with the essential knowledge and skills to provide pampering on yourself and also to friends, family and paying clients.
