You have 12 weeks to access our online student portal & view the online course resources at your leisure from date of enrolment. This course is taught through pre-recorded video demonstrations and e-manuals. There is no ‘live’ online session to attend so you are free to study online at a time convenient for you. Students must complete 3 case studies at home on friends / family to practice their skills and demonstrate competence to achieve the course certificate. You have up to 12 months from date of enrolling to submit your case studies to us by email, to achieve your course certificate.

We anticipate students to take a minimum of 12 hours to complete this online course, including completion of case studies.

3D Nail Art allows you to create breathtaking designs that put you ahead of the competition in terms of the nail designs you can create. Have your clients coming back to you time and time again for nails that get people talking!

Earn more on every set of nails by offering profitable nail designs for nail art typically taking an extra 5-10 minutes per nail and earning you an extra £5-£10+ per set of nails.

3D Gel can be used to create a range of 3D embellishments from scratch including flowers, shells, bows and butterflies. These can then be applied to gel nail extensions or gel polish and cured into place. Once you’ve mastered the basics to create these designs, you can adapt to make your own unique designs or layer the 3D nail art embellishments for incredible effects. 

We welcome students of all abilities, whether you are looking to learn a new skill from scratch or currently working as a therapist and looking to refresh your knowledge of particular treatments.

While this course is suitable for those new to working with 3D gel and nail art, to get the very most from the course we would recommend getting familiar with the basics of working with a gel nail system first either by booking a course before or alongside this course, such as our Online UV Gel Nail Extensions Course.

You will need access to basic products / tools at home to complete 3 treatment case studies (on friends / family or a nail trainer hand). You will also need a pc, tablet or mobile to access our online student portal with high speed, stable internet connection.

When you have successfully completed your training course(s), you will receive a certificate issued by The Beauty Academy recognising your achievement on the Online course. These are great to support applications for further training courses, entering employment or indeed may be considered CPD for existing therapists. You will be able to provide treatments on yourself, to friends, family and clients.
