Highly Defined Brows Training Course
Our Highly Defined Brows Training Course is a generic treatment course designed to teach you one of the most popular beauty treatments currently offered within the industry. You will learn a range of brow-grooming procedures, including waxing, threading and tinting of the brows, to allow you to competently offer this in-demand treatment from home and/or mobile, creating a natural-looking arches and a defined brow shape for your clients. Earn up to £35 an hour providing these lucrative brow treatments!
A tinting starter kit is included in the price of the course as this is required for the purposes of patch testing. You will be required to patch test yourself at least 48 hours before your course using these products.
You will also need to bring these products with you to the training day.
If your patch test yields an allergic result, we have alternative ‘inactive’ products for use at our centres which will allow you to learn the techniques but will not produce a tinting result. You must be prepared to give and receive treatments.
Please note – If you are not able to receive the treatment, you will not be able to attend this course. No models are provided.
General Course Information
Entry Requirements
You must be aged 16 years or over to attend our classroom courses. This course is suitable for complete beginners to brow treatments / beauty. No previous training or qualifications required.
Course Duration / Timings
This course is completed within 1 day. The course duration is 6 hours, you will attend from 10am – 4pm with a short break for lunch. Please arrive at 9.45am for a prompt course start.
Dress Code
If you have beauty uniform (tunic, fitted trousers etc.) this would be ideal. Otherwise smart, comfortable clothing suitable for the practical nature of the courses, such as short sleeved t-shirt with trousers or leggings would be suitable. Shoes must have a closed toe and flat sole. No flip flops / sandals for safety. Long hair (as applicable) should be tied back. Valuables such as jewellery should be removed and left at home.

Course Structure
Structure:
You will attend for 1 day from 10am – 4pm with a short break for lunch. The course is very much hands-on practical throughout the day. Short introduction on the theory followed by tutor demonstration & practical work by students. There are no exams or case studies required, your competence is assessed informally by the tutor throughout the training day.
Models:
No models are required or provided for this course. Students will be required & must be prepared to give and receive treatments as part of this course, so must ensure they complete the patch test provided (tint) no later than 24 hours before attending the course. Please ensure you allow growth of the brow hair before attending the course (where possible). Please note – If you are not able to receive the treatment, you will not be able to attend this course.
Patch Test Kit:
The tinting starter kit is included in the price as you will require this to patch test yourself with the products prior to the course, so you do not need to purchase another one. This will be posted to your address to arrive before your course. You will be required to patch test yourself 24-48 hours before your course. If your patch test yields an allergic result, we have alternative ‘inactive’ products for use at our centres which will allow you to learn the techniques but will not produce a tinting result. You must bring the tinting kit with you for use on the day.
You will need to bring:
Tinting products from your kit (posted to you for patch testing). Cold food (salad or sandwich) for your lunch. Clean hand towel for personal use on the course. Pen/paper if you wish to make any brief notes.

What qualification will you receive?
When you have successfully completed your training course(s), you will receive a diploma certificate issued by The Beauty Academy and accredited by ABT allowing you to begin working with clients providing Highly Defined Brow treatments. This not only demonstrates your commitment to the training, but also allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients from home or mobile. Additional work required to complete this qualification
Once you have completed your practical training day with us, there is no additional work to be completed. Your diploma certificate will be sent to you within 1-2 working days and you can then begin working from home and/or mobile, once insurance has been obtained.

What will your career opportunities be?
All of our diploma courses enable you to work from both home and mobile offering the specialised treatment(s) that you have completed. You can start earning by offering treatments to paying clients as soon as you have obtained your insurance. You could easily work solely as a Brow Specialist providing brow treatments on a mobile basis or establish a treatment area at home. Alternatively you may like to look at further courses such as the Eyelash Extension Course or Facial Massage & Skincare course to enable you to provide a range of facial enhancement treatments.

I have done the lashes & brows complete course and I have loved it! This place feels like home to me now. All the tutors are brilliant and for this one, I had Carolyn who has been my tutor for a lot of my courses and she is brilliant! Encouraging & so knowledgeable and gives you the confidence to walk away with your skill. I can’t recommend these courses enough.

Fleur was absolutely amazing!!!
She is a great teacher. I have done many other course in other beauty schools but Fleur is on top of my list as an amazing respectful teacher.
During the whole day she empowers you, with great super positive feedbacks. She doesn’t give you a feeling that you are doing things wrong she there with you in every step. Thank you Fleur!

I can honestly say that I am gutted that i have finished all my courses with the beauty academy already. I have never met a friendlier team that make you feel confident in what you are learning, they are welcoming and make you feel at ease. I was also able to pay the course off in instalments. I really had a great experience learning from The beauty Academy ,My Trainer was Alexia she was amazing very professional through out the course she was very helpful ,approachable and friendly ,that really made a big difference for me and my other class mates .she explained every thing and made it very easy by making us practice on each other and no matter how many times you ask Questions and concerns she was never tired of answering .I would definitely recommend The beauty Academy to every one who ever wants to start a career in this field .

I attended a classic and Russians lash extension course with Yvonne and a highly defined eyebrow course with Katie in Birmingham and both of them were incredible. They were both chatty, kind and welcoming. And made the course so easy to attend. If you had questions they took their time and answered them! Katie even took time out at the end of our brows session to answer and demonstrate some extra lash advice. Amazing I’ll defo return to do extra training with them xx

I was very nervous and anxious about attending the training course but I had no reason to be because GiGi our tutor was lovely and so were the rest of the girls that were in the training group. GiGi explained and demonstrated everything very well and very thorough. I will definitely be attending more courses in the future.

I came into the course a little nervous and not knowing what to expect, but our tutor Sheral was fab and made the day so enjoyable and she was so patient and informative. Great equipment provided on the day, and loads of useful tools and resources were shared, meaning I could walk away confidently with my new skill. Highly recommend!

I attended the highly defined brow course yesterday and absolutely loved it ! Katy was amazing as usual very helpful and patient. All in all it was a very interesting course and now I’m fully qualified in brow lamination lashes highly defined brows.

I was extremely impressed with the academy, the cleanliness and layout of the beds and products. I was welcomed by the wonderful Katy whom has great interpersonal skills and is very likeable. When I saw the rooms, I was absolutely amazed at how clean and professional it looked – I’ve been to a few academy’s and I haven’t seen it as clean or as professional looking as TBA’s rooms. The course was delivered with methodically and was explained really well. I learnt a lot in one day and that’s thanks to Katy and her teaching method. I’m definitely going to come back for another course or 4. I already have so many in mind. Thank you Katy for making me feel so welcomed and thank you for delivering the course on the day – I was impressed with your presentation and the delivery of the course. Katy is definitely an asset to the academy x
